Truck bed covers
Truck bed covers are primarily
used to protect cargo in the bed of a pick-up truck from theft and weather
elements. Some features of a typical bed cover include side rails that
attach to the truck and the actual cover that can be positioned in several
ways over the bed, protecting the cargo underneath.
Some truck bed covers have locking mechanisms that securely lock the
cover in place. For truck owners who have multiple uses for their truck
bed, bed covers are available that lock in different positions, allowing
the user to operate a fifth wheel trailer while keeping cargo secure.
The installation of most truck bed covers is relatively simple and
may take around two hours. For truck owners who already have bed liners
installed on their trucks, check the owner’s manual to ensure
compatibility between the liners and the covers.
